The force sensing resistor will help measure the force or pressure at the sole of the feet and on the fingers of the humanoid. The gyroscope, the accelerometer, and the magnetometer will help with balance and let the humanoid know its position with respect to the environment. The ultrasound sensor will help the humanoid robot avoid obstacles. Finally, the Softpot potentiometer placed in the palm of the hand will be used to detect the size of the object the robot will touch.
